SHORT STORY – 4

He pledged not to hate anybody. The whole world hated him for that.

Is it that there is a absence of selfless love or is it that love has evolved in time with a shade of negativity, that people measure your love for them with your hatred for all others.

  • That sounds true in political life - that you are more measured by who you are against rather than who you favour.
IN Personal life, aren't such people valued? I would not know because I am yet to meet someone without hate.

  • What you have said Hari, is the possessivness of people masquerading as love. And the protagonist of your story - doesn't have love either - for mere absence of hatred is not love.

    Nice work.

HI USHA. Politics has long ago crossed the boundaries of Parliament and Assemblies. Politics has become an integral part of daily life now and is in fact more pervasive in personal life than in Politics as a profession.

Welcome to my blog and thanks for taking the pains to read few of my previous posts.
