INDIAN CRICKET TEAM IN A NUTSHELL
One thing the Team India has made easy by their blastering performance in recent times is their definition. So even without putting in a nutshell you can elaborately define the India Cricket Team as :
THE BEST MODELS, WORSE ROLE MODELS AND WORST CRICKETERS.
And what to say of my beloved country, where it has become a tradition, that the people who perform the least or rather worst are the one who become the richest, most celebrated and the most decorated too.
I feel it is totally wrong to say that India does not have good sportsperson because there is not enough money in it and people cannot make a living out of it. It is rather now more evident than ever, that it is the excess money and the uncanny ability of sportsperson to make a better living being in and at the same time out of it (sports), which is preventing India from producing genuine sportsperson.

A typical example of my above statement is Sania Mirza and Narain Karthikeyan.
So once again talking of the Indian Cricket Team, one really gets everything wrong, this time its the title of my post.

Hey Hari, GOOD to see you back and blogging! I really thought you'd given up. Hope all's going well with you - and yes, I've put you back up on my links! :)
As for Indian cricketers... they're the main reason why I've totally lost interest in cricket. I'm ashamed that they're India's representatives!

Hari, I agree with you. We keep on celebrating mediocrity. There is no dearth of real heroes, but media is too busy promoting glamour.

Thanks Dame, Shyam and Alka. Journalism was a passion and duty in the initial years of news reporting. But now Journalism has become a business. Look for the news that gives maximum returns. Wanna make extra money, distort the news.
